He was predeceased by his wife, Marie and son, John Jr. He is survived by his children, Kathleen (Richard) Shaw, Tom (Rochelle) Beaty, J. Scott (Bart) Beaty-Gray, Tim Beaty, Kevin Beaty; his nephew, Michael (Linda) Beaty; sister-in-law, Ann (Wayne) DeLaroche; grandchildren, Lori Wright, Christopher (Sarah) Beaty, Megan Beaty, Erin (Peter) Velepec, Elise (Conor) Fournier and 3 great-grandchildren. The Beaty family was one of the original settlers of Paddy Hill in the Town of Greece.
John worked for New York Life Insurance Company for over 40 years. He graduated from Hilton High School and RIT. He was active in the community as a volunteer Fireman for the North Greece Fire Department, Mother of Sorrows Club and Meals-On- Wheels. John was a United States Army Veteran who served his country during WWII. He was a decorated Officer achieving the rank of Gunnery Seargent and Top Marksman for the 86th Black Hawk Division.
There will be a Funeral Mass held on Saturday, October 27th at 9:30 AM at Our Mother of Sor- rows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. followed by a private Interment with Military honors at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to St. Jude Research Hospital.
To share a special memory, please visit: John C. Beaty LEROY Leni Lee Brusso, age 78, passed away at home Monday evening (October 15, 2018) in the loving pres- ence of her family. She was born June 6, 1940 in Fayetteville, N.Y., a daughter of the late Walter and Rosalie Lyman. Leni was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family unconditionally. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren as well as all the time spent with her family and friends at their cottage on Silver Lake.
She enjoyed collecting and selling antiques and was an amazing artist. She will be deeply missed by her loving and de- voted husband, Martin Brusso; children, Christopher (Sue) Ecker and Kelly (Paul) Frawley; stepchildren, Melissa (Jeff) Tack and Melinda Miller; grandchildren, Christopher Ecker, Jona- than Ecker, Christine (Bradley) Oliver and Pauli Frawley, Bethany, Dori and Evee Rivaldo, Caleb and Hannah Miller; three great-grandchildren, along with many cousins and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, David Ecker and step daughter, Michelle Brusso. Family and friends are invited to attend her Me- morial Mass on Saturday, October 27 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St.

John will lovingly be remembered by his wife (Linda) of 61 years, his children, Karen (Dan), Lori (Tom) and son, Tim. John is survived by his sister Delores Jonasse, several nieces, nephews and many friends. John was predeceased by his eldest son, John Gerow the 3rd, mother Ida and father John, brother Donald and sister Nancy Taylor.
John was a veteran of the Marines who served in the Korean War. John was employed at Eastman Kodak for 39 years. A memorial service will be at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer 1549 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY on Saturday Oct. 27th at 10 am. She loved being part of the marching band color guard squad. She went to Nazareth College and received an under graduate degree in English and a degree in educa- tion. Her love of children drew her towards teach- ing. Cheryl worked for the RCSD where she taught for 25 years at school as a special education teacher. She was an exceptional teacher because she believed in her students.
She found their strengths and built on their weaknesses. She was firm, but very loving. Cheryl was also deeply involved in Special Olympics as a coach and spokesperson. She fought a courageous 24-year fight with Dystonia. Her relentless determination to keep teaching despite her limitations was admirable.
Once she stopped teaching, she continued to find strength through God. She never took life for granted and was grateful for every day she lived. She found joy in the simple things in life, which made one see her beautiful soul. Cheryl had a tremendous love for her niece and nephews and saw them as her own children. She was extremely open-minded, had a zest and love for life.
She was endlessly patient and graceful. Friends may call 3-7 PM Tuesday, Oct. 23rd at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Webster. Her Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, Oct.

Fradenburgh HONEOYE FALLS The namesake of the Greene Newark Valley Cross Country Invita- passed away at his home on October 1, 2018. He was a wonder- ful father, husband, and son. Bob grew up in Syra- cuse where he graduated High School at Onon- daga Valley Academy in 1954 and Oswego State College in 1962 and 1969. He married his wife of 55 years and moved to Newark Valley where he worked as a HS teacher for 32 years and as a coach for 30 years while raising their children Heather and Cary. After retirement they moved to the Rochester area.
He was predeceased by his wife Janice (Muir) Greene, parents, Pansy Lena (Brough) and William Greene; siblings Mike, Lois and Raymond. He is survived by his two children, son-in-law Bob Balmer; four loving grandchildren, Kara and Jada Balmer, Skye and Willow Greene; sister Mildred MacDonald; sister-in-law Barbara Greene and many many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Family and close friends are invited to share memories at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home in Honeoye Falls on Sunday October 28th at 1 pm, luncheon to follow.
